The SMF has always been a strong advocate for National Service. To show its support, the SMF organises the SAF Day Combined Rededication Ceremony (CRC) for the East Zone every year. This year, to commemorate and pay tribute to all SAF servicemen and women who have played a part in making Singapore a safer home, the SMF presented a musical rhapsody that combined video, skit and song to remember the sacrifices and the journey of our people in uniform.

The SMF was also accredited with the NS Mark (Gold) earlier this year, a national-level accreditation scheme that recognises businesses and organisations who have put in place policies and human resource practices that support National Service and Total Defence.

The SMF will continue to be a flag bearer within the community in supporting our National Servicemen to better balance their family, work and National Service commitments.
